— My research focuses on utilizing the overgrowth of bamboo in Itoshima to produce biochar as a means to sequester carbon and improve the quality of the soil. The overgrowth of bamboo has created an imbalance in the ecosystem, while at the same time provides a sustainable source of biochar that can be used to improve the local vegetable production.
